Blue: Rating Req for S3 after S4

Today, CM Tharfor commented on a post in the European forums inquiring about the rating requirement on Season 3 weapons and shoulders after Season 4. Many players were under the impression that the rating requirement would be removed, but according to the post:
The personal rating requirement on the Season 3 shoulder and weapons will still exist on those items when the new season starts, but it’s likely that the current requirement will be lowered at that point.
Despite all the changes to T5/T6 instances, ZA loot and new 2.4 badge loot, Season 3 weapons still rank right below BT/MH weapons in terms of DPS as well as having a fair amount of Armor Penetration.
As my arena teams this season have not done well, I’ll be watching this carefully for my “welfare” epics. =P
